Our work draws on historical materials including Menglin Xuanjie. Some sources contain OCR uncertainty, variant readings, incomplete preservation, and social assumptions of their time. A classical quotation, supplied modern Chinese text, or editorial English adaptation may have different evidentiary status. We do not claim every volume has received a definitive character-by-character scholarly collation.
